Michael Connelly

Michael Connelly is a New York Times bestselling author, creator of the popular Harry Bosch series of thrillers. When he began writing mystery and crime novels,
he was a police reporter for the Los Angeles Times. Connelly's first book was published in 1992, and featured an LAPD Detective named Hieronymus Bosch.
The Black Echo
won the "Edgar Award for Best First Novel" by the Mystery Writers of America, and the "Harry Bosch" series of novels has continued since then,
thru 10 books and counting.
Connelly has also written several well-received non-Bosch novels, most notably
The Poet,
which won the Anthony Award for Best Novel, and
Blood Work,
which won the Grand Prix, Anthony, and Macavity Awards.
